Welcome to University Week for Women!  We are excited to offer Teacher Certificate Renewal Credit classes to you. 

You may select the classes that pertain to your area of study, students and/or professional development.  Credit will not be available for personal enrichment courses.

This year, in cooperation with the SD Department of Education, you will complete one (1) application and a response outline for each class completed. 

APPLICATION:  (Download and Print)

Please complete the upper portion of the application.  This assures you receive credit for your classes.

The lower portion of the application asks you to list your classes and number of hours of instruction time.  You may total amount of instruction time at the bottom of the table.  You need to complete fifteen (15) hours of instruction time to earn one (1) teacher renewal credit. 

RESPONSE OUTLINE: (Download and Print)

You will submit a response outline form for each class you complete.  At the most, you will need to complete ten (10) forms.  You will write a report on how the information will impact you and/or your classroom. Overall, the reports should explain how the UWW class will improve or enhance your effectiveness in the classroom. 

Reports should be assembled into the folder and returned to the registration desk during UWW.  Otherwise, they must be postmarked on or before August 15, 2008 to be accepted.
